This Privacy Policy describes how Best Vehicles ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information through the Best Vehicles Inventory mobile application ("the App"). The App is an internal tool for authorized Best Vehicles employees only.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the App, we may collect the following information:
- Account information: Your name, company email address, and login credentials (managed through Supabase Auth).
- Device information: Push notification tokens used to deliver alerts about inventory, orders, and approvals.
- Business data: Inventory records, vehicle details (including chassis numbers), parts data, sales orders, payment records, and other information you enter as part of your work duties.
- Usage data: Basic app activity necessary to maintain functionality and security (such as login timestamps and error logs).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information solely for:
- Providing and maintaining App functionality
- Managing inventory, sales, and payment workflows
- Authenticating users and enforcing role-based access controls
- Sending push notifications related to business operations
- Internal business reporting and operations at Best Vehicles
- Improving app reliability and fixing technical issues
We do not use your information for advertising or marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely in a Supabase cloud database with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls at the application and database level. We implement role-based permissions so that employees can only access data relevant to their role (Admin, Manager, or Store Manager).
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We continuously review our security practices to safeguard your data.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Information may be shared only in the following circumstances:
- Within Best Vehicles: With authorized staff members who need access based on their assigned role.
- Service providers: With Supabase and other infrastructure providers that host and operate the App on our behalf, under contractual obligations to protect your data.
- Legal requirements: When required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and business data for as long as your employment relationship with Best Vehicles requires access to the App, and as needed to comply with legal and business record-keeping obligations. When an account is deactivated, associated personal data is handled according to our internal data retention policies.
6. Your Rights
As a Best Vehicles employee using this App, you may:
- Request access to the personal information associated with your account
- Request correction of inaccurate account information through your manager or support
- Request deletion of your account by contacting support (subject to business and legal retention requirements)

7. Push Notifications
The App may send push notifications related to inventory updates, sales orders, and payment approvals. You can manage notification permissions through your device settings. Disabling notifications may limit certain App features.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
